Johannesburg:- The AutoTraderSA South Africa Bike Festival powered by Discovery Channel is the largest annual motorcycle festival in South Africa.

“Visitors can expect a huge variety of the newest biking trends from the world’s top brands alongside live music, test rides and the best in biking lifestyle and entertainment.”

The three-day event attracts riders, collectors, enthusiasts and their families from all over SA

Some of the many attractions that will bring the avid motorcyclists to the Festival is the opportunity to ride one’s bike on the iconic Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.

If off-road biking is what you’re into, you can always try the Adventure Ride Outs.

Adventure Ride Outs are a 2km off-road course over the surrounding prison lands at the back of Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit for those who prefer an off-road and adventurous experience! Follow a trained marshal from iRide on your favourite models from Honda, Suzuki, KTM.

The team from iRide are excited to introduce visitors to two different experiences available over the weekend. The Green Loop will consist of a very easy off road experience to build the riders confidence, with minimal technicalities.

A Red Loop will incorporate some to the green loop but a technical section will be added at the riders’ choice.

Rides on the off-road models are on sale for just R100.

If you would like to see some high-speed action on the day, there will be some amazing races taking place on the day.

GAS Sports will be bringing, not only the 1000cc class but the 600cc’s for a round of the SuperGP Champions Trophy to Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit this year.

The schedule of events for the weekend will include 20 minute qualifying sessions for SuperGP and Super600’s on Friday as well as qualifying sessions on Saturday 26th and main races on Sunday 27th May.

Over the past four years the SuperGP Champions Trophy has grown to be firmly established as the premier national motorcycle racing series on the South African calendar with many of its stars going on to showcase their talents on the international stage.
